Description

Ma Perkins is a rose that has been used extensively in hybridizing programs since it was released, the 1950 s. There is of course a reason for this. Being one of the original Floribundas, Ma Perkins possesses an abundance of almost bourbon-like blooms graced with with strong fragrance. Indeed the number of blooms is so great that some even refer to Ma as a Hybrid Polyantha. Some interesting facts are that it is nearly thornless, and it was used by David Austin to breed Wife of Bath and several other English Roses.
